How do I get started?

1. Create an account - Click the yellow "Sign Up" button at the top of the screen and fill in your information. You on only need to fill in the fields marked "(Required)".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Create password - At the bottom of the sign up page, enter a password, enter it again to confirm, and then click the purple "Create Your Account" button. 

3. Qualifications - The next step of sign up is complete a couple of qualifications. These are requirements for specific volunteer opportunities. 

a. All volunteers are required to watch at COVID-19 safety video. Watch the video by click the link "Preventing the Spread of COVID-19" and then mark the bubble that states that you have completed the training and agree to observe the recommended guidelines. 

b. All volunteers are required to sign and date the volunteer consent and waiver. Click the link that says "General Waiver (all opportunities) English & Espanol"

c. If you are going to be volunteering in the warehouse in any capacity (like distribution or sorting opportunities) you must also watch our warehouse safety video and complete a short quiz by clicking the link "Volunteer Safety & GMP Standards Video & Quiz". Then mark the bubble stating that you have watched the video and taken the quiz. 

 

d. Click the purple "Finish Sign Up" button at the bottom of the page. 

4. Opportunities - Opportunities are volunteer positions and jobs. Now that your account is created, you can look for available volunteer opportunities by clicking the "Opportunities" tab on the left hand side of the screen. 

You can tell the location of the opportunity by looking right below the title. For example "Sorting -  2021" is at our Tucson warehouse and "Senior Meals Portioning & Packaging 2021" is at Caridad Community Kitchen. 

To view more details about the opportunity and see what shifts are available, click on "View Details". 

5. Sign up for a shift - When you find a volunteer opportunity you would like to sign up for, click the purple "Respond" button. 

Then click the box next to the shift(s) you would like to sign up for. Make sure that a green check mark appears. 

If there is an initiative question below the shifts, make sure you check the small box next to it so that a purple check mark appears. 

Then click the purple "Submit Opportunity Response" button. and you will receive a confirmation email that you are signed up for a shift! If you can't come to your shift, make sure that you unregister from the opportunity so that we have an accurate count of volunteers who are coming.
