Volunteers are needed at the Santa Cruz River Farmers’ Market. The Santa Cruz River Farmers’ Market strives to build community, foster local food businesses, and increase access to fresh healthy food for all. We aim to create a supportive and thriving market space for our vendors and customers in which all people feel welcome and have space to build community.
Come support the Market with set up and tear down, help us sell local produce, share information about the services available at Market and interact with local shoppers and vendors each week. Volunteers will either be asked to support at the Information Booth or Abundant Harvest Cooperative (AHC) Booth as needed. Feel free to share your preference at sign-up.
Volunteers should be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions, be prepared to lift tents, coolers, crates, and tables, and be respectful to people of all economic and cultural backgrounds as the Market is an inclusive space where all are welcome.
