The Farmers' Market team is in need of weekly support on Wednesday mornings. The position is helping with Abundant Harvest Cooperative grower drop off in the warehouse, weighing out produce & bagging it. The volunteer will report to Alex or another member of the Farmers’ Market team for direction and training in the morning.
Dress code: We ask that you don't wear tank tops, short shorts or sandals/flip flops when volunteering--all shirts must have sleeves and must cover armpits, abdomen, and chest. All shoes must be closed-toe and heel shoes. Please be aware that failure to follow the dress code may result in dismissal from volunteer activity.
Please follow these safety rules to have a great volunteer experience:
- No cell phones, radios, iPods or headphones in the warehouse
- Please follow the dress code above (closed-toe shoes, shirt with sleeves)
- No eating, drinking, smoking or chewing gum in the warehouse
- Warehouse tasks may require you to stand for long periods of time, lift approximately 25 pounds
You can enter the front gate with code 3003# and someone will be at the lobby doors to let you in.
