Canstruction is a competition in which builders, architects, engineers, and more compete to see who can create the best sculptures made out of canned goods. The canned goods are then donated to the Community Food Bank to help replenish our pantries during the summer. This volunteering opportunity will be during build day, for which we will be hosting some family-friendly activities while witnessing these Cansculptures come to life.
Volunteering for this event may include tasks like checking in team members, handing out flyers to get people to vote for their favorites, helping clear trash (packing materials), monitoring our "try it yourself" table where guests can try their hand at stacking cans, and any other event support.
The event will take place inside of the Park Place Mall, right in center court. The closest entrance is next to Yard House. There will be a large banner inside center court hanging from the ceiling.
