Volunteers are needed to help in the Nuestra Tierra Garden for our weekly Volunteer Workdays on Fridays 6:30 am- 9:30am (June-August), OR 7:00am - 10:00am (September - May). Due to limited volunteer opportunities in the garden, the ideal candidate is someone who can commit to volunteering at least 3 Fridays a month for a 10-month commitment.
Duties include planting, transplanting, and sorting seeds (all underneath our shady Ramada), weeding, harvesting in the garden, and greenhouse work. Due to outside gardening, volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and dress for the elements.
