We need volunteers for this year’s National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! Groups and individual volunteers 16 years or older are needed to help collect and sort food at this station. Volunteers 12 - 15 years may also join; please bring one adult per four youth volunteers.
CLOSED TOED SHOES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT.
Volunteers will help with:
- Collection of food when the mail trucks come in with donations
- Sorting food if station is not to busy
Volunteers agree that they feel safe and are able to perform essential tasks, including...
- Standing for the majority of shift length
- General ability to lift 25-50 lbs from the ground or over the head
- Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull, and walk
